Rust prevention

The X14 is constructed of high-grade stainless steel. Like any other high-end stainless steel tool, some rust may form if not properly maintained.

Your X14 should be periodically cleaned, dried, and lubricated, especially if your tool has been exposed to saltwater or used in marine environments.

Simply rinse off with fresh water, dry and apply a light coat of oil.

Sharpening

Any knife edge can become blunt over time and with use. We recommend sharpening as required. The blade on your X14 can be sharpened using any standard equipment, including whetstones, rods, etc.

The sharpening angle should be 16 degrees on each side.

As per the video, our blade rpm tachometer packed up, open up the panel and repaired it with my Terratac, and was able to continue to fly again, would of been grounded had it not come to the quick rescue..
