The warranty provided by TerraTAC covers tools purchased for personal use only. It does not cover bulk purchases from auctions, government or customs clearance sales, second-hand markets, or flea markets with the intent to resell repaired or refurbished tools.
The warranty applies exclusively to the original or primary owner of the TerraTAC Multitool.
The warranty does not extend to accessories, sheaths, imprinting, colored coatings, tool finishes, cleaning, or sharpening services. TerraTAC will not assume responsibility for corroded or rusted tools, blunt blades, dirty tools, burnt tools, or welding damage to tools.
2. Lifetime Warranty:
TerraTAC Multitools come with a lifetime warranty against defects from the date of purchase.
If the product exhibits any defects under normal use we will either repair or replace it at our discretion.
3. Warranty Claims:

For customers who place bulk orders, TerraTAC acknowledges that they may choose to resell our products. However, it is important to note that our lifetime warranty does not extend to the end customers of bulk order purchasers. In the event of a warranty claim, the end customer must return the product to the original bulk order purchaser.
The warranty claim process for bulk order purchasers is as follows:
End Customer's Responsibility: If an end customer of a bulk order purchaser encounters an issue covered by the warranty, they must contact the original bulk order purchaser directly for assistance.
Submission of Warranty Claim: The bulk order purchaser, who holds the original order number, is responsible for submitting the warranty claim on behalf of their end customer. They can do so by contacting TerraTAC directly through our designated warranty claim channels.
TerraTAC is committed to ensuring a seamless warranty claim process and providing excellent customer service to both bulk order purchasers and their end customers. 5. Return Process:
Depending on the nature of the warranty claim, TerraTAC may request that the Product be returned to us for inspection and assessment. If requested, please follow these return procedures:
TerraTAC will provide instructions on how to package and ship the Product safely.
Shipping costs associated with returning the Product will be the responsibility of the customer.
TerraTAC will evaluate the Product upon receipt and determine if it qualifies for warranty coverage.
6. Rust Prevention:
It is important to note that rust formation on TerraTAC Multitools are a natural occurrence and is not covered under the warranty. It is the responsibility of the user to prevent rust through adequate cleaning and oiling. To ensure the longevity of your tool and prevent rust, please follow these guidelines:
Periodically clean the tool with a mild detergent and warm water.
Thoroughly dry the tool after cleaning.
Rinse the tool with fresh water after exposure to saltwater and dry it promptly.
Apply a light coat of oil to the tool, especially if it has been exposed to saltwater or used in marine environments.
7. Warranty Exclusions:
The warranty coverage will be voided under the following circumstances:
Deliberate misuse or abuse of the TerraTAC Multitool beyond its intended use, including using it for testing or review purposes.
Any failure or damage caused by actions not consistent with normal use for which the tool was designed.
Instances of abuse, modification, theft, loss, or any unauthorized or unreasonable use of your tool.
Natural wear and tear such as wearing down of finishing, blunting of blades or tools.
Natural wear and tear of the spring or other components.
Please understand that over time, the spring in your TerraTAC Multitools may naturally wear out due to regular use. It's important to note that this wear and tear is considered a normal part of the product's lifecycle and is not indicative of a defect in materials or workmanship. Consequently, it is not covered by the warranty provided with this product.
Normal wear and tear is excluded from the warranty, and includes, but is not limited to, the gradual wearing down of finishing or coatings on the tool and the blunting of blades and tools due to regular use. These natural and expected signs of use and aging are not considered defects in materials or workmanship and are not covered under this warranty.
8. Limitation of Liability:
TerraTAC's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective Product. We will not be responsible for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the Product.

I absolutely love my TerraTAC™ X14 MKII PINK (Full House Bundle)! The custom engraving makes it feel truly personal, and the pink leather pouch is both beautiful and practical. I work in an underground mine in Indonesia, on West-Papua.I have been using this x14 for a year and a half now. I carry it every day and use it for diverse jobs, from opening milk cartons to cutting tough plastic with the saw. I have also bought 3 others to give as gifts to some of my colleagues. An excellent product, proudly South African and tough as nails.
I was a bit dubious when I first ordered my multitool. But I was very pleasantly impressed once it arrived- it is solid and seems to be well made. The add on bits and screwdriver is a winner to have. I would recommend you get the leather pouch. I have the nylon one and lost it three times now. Lucky my staff have returned it each time.
Amazing product, use pliers in my industry to the point of frustration as they slip off no matter the make. Used the Terratac and gripped without fail every single time. The quality is uncompromised and unmatched!

I was in two minds because of the price. I follow Terratac on most of the social media platforms, I didn't see much negative reviews. Then I saw someone with one. Then I ordered mine immediately. I like my tools, and this tool work a lot. The scissors works more than I ever dreamed off.

I have been watching the Terratac marketing on social media for a while now and decided to place my order to see if I can be converted.
Bought the 3 for 2 deal with bit sets.
2 for gifts and 1 for me.

Love the spring-loaded pliers and scissors.
Solid tool for the price, I would not rate it better than my Leatherman but it does cost a third of the Leatherman so I suppose it’s justified.
There is a slight alignment issue between the two sides when closed and it doesn’t feel as sturdy side to side.
I have seen tools looking exactly the same without the name on takealot for half the price, which is kind of suspicious but the fact that you give a lifetime warranty makes it worth it for me to pay double.
Overall - I am happy with the tool and it works well as a daily and on site as the owner of SG Solar I do frequently require a utility knife or pliers.
Spring loaded pliers are great and the knife is better than the main blade on my leatherman but lacks a bit compared to the serrated blade which I would have loved on this tool possibly replacing the saw.

I bought a TerraTac x14 EDC in Jan 2024, been carrying it daily ever since. To be honest, I feel naked without it. I am in the agricultural/mechanical industry, so this multitool just made life easier in a lot of ways. It was used in two animal rescues, where a Blesbuck and a calf was caught in poacher's wire snares. I was lucky to have the tool on my side, cut wire, animals freed, snares removed. My biggest point of this review is the after-sales service. After two years of proper use (and sometimes a bit of abuse) I encountered a small issue with the blade lock mechanism. I contacted TerraTac via e-mail, explaining the problem, and got a reply within an hour or two. I was simply asked for my delivery address, so they can send a replacement under warranty. WHAT SERVICE!!! I replied with my details, and the next day I had a tracking number for the courier. One day later my new replacement tool arrived. No questions, no hassles, no charge. Brand new tool in my hand. TerraTac, THIS IS SERVICE! Thank you so much. Not only are you supplying top-notch tools, but you keep your promises on warranty. Better than Leatherman! I would strongly suggest this tool to anyone for anything. Mine has been used for anything one can possibly think of, and it always performed. Even been used as braai tongs at a veld braai more than once, even that job wasn't too much for the tool. Thanks again TerraTac, I will continue to put your good name out there.
I recently purchased a Terra Tac as a birthday gift for my father-in-law, who just turned 80. Despite his age, he's still actively working, installing gas systems for customers.
I asked him to send me a video of himself using the tool, and seeing how happy he was made my day. It just goes to show that you're never too old to use a Terra Tac! Yes, it took him a little while to figure it out, but once he did, he absolutely loved it. I know this tool is going to make his work so much easier.

I bought the TerraTAC X14 along with the bit holder and bit set, and I'm honestly blown away.
Up until now I was a Leatherman fanboy and thought they were the absolute best and only option for quality multitools. I never thought anything would knock them off the top spot for me, but the X14 has done exactly that, and quite frankly now I look down on Leatherman for being way too expensive, especially as the build quality of TerraTac matches it exactly or might even be better. Consider me a fully converted to a TerraTAC fan boy from here on out.
The build quality is fantastic, the springloaded pliers are a joy to use onehanded and having every tool lock solidly in place gives real peace of mind.
Add the bit holder and bit set and it's basically a full toolbox in your pocket.
My only "problem" now is that everything in my house and at work is working too well. I've genuinely caught myself waiting for and wanting something to break just so I have an excuse to pull out this new beast. When something finally does need fixing, I'm weirdly excited about it.
Brilliant product at a price that makes sense and doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. Five stars, easily.
