Rust prevention
The X14 is constructed of high-grade stainless steel. Like any other high-end stainless steel tool, some rust may form if not properly maintained.
Your X14 should be periodically cleaned, dried, and lubricated, especially if your tool has been exposed to saltwater or used in marine environments.
Simply rinse off with fresh water, dry and apply a light coat of oil.
Sharpening
Any knife edge can become blunt over time and with use. We recommend sharpening as required. The blade on your X14 can be sharpened using any standard equipment, including whetstones, rods, etc.
The sharpening angle should be 16 degrees on each side.

I’ve had a Leatherman multitool all through my construction and maintenance career.
My last one was the Titanium Charge which in my opinion is still the one to beat.
The TerraTac multitool is definitely of great quality and there has been good thought put into it.
There are a few features and changes I think that can be made to really make it unbeatable but so far I am enjoying using the tool.
Unfortunately I did have a bad experience with the ordering. I ordered the black tool set but was told a few days later that they were out of stock and did not have an eta on receiving stock.
I was made to pay more money for the option I did not want. That did upset my experience.
I will be working this tool very hard in my maintenance company so it will be interesting to see how it holds up to my leatherman I have been beating on for the last 6 months.

Unbelievable value for money. Well made, out of good steel. Impressed with the sharpness of the knives and scissors. The pliers are tough with great cutters. I highly recommend these above the famous brand multitools. 10/5 points on this

Just on the side where you have your size 10mm and 14mm, would I change the 14mm it to a 13mm. Otherwise excellent product
My TERRATAC X14 BLACK EDITION help me to get my car moving again. Had work done on my car and they disconnected the battery. After leaving the workshop at my next stop my car didn't want to start. Knowing what they did at the workshop I thought let me just check the battery connections and yes the positive battery connection was not tightened. Luckily I had my TERRATAC BLACK with the wrench function and the size 10 did the job. Tightened the nut and we had posted contact and my car started. I EDC my TERRATAC X14 BLACK EDITION!

Really like the tool. Feels solid. I'm sure I'll enjoy it for a long time.
The only reason I haven't given full marks is that the bit belt doesn't really fit into the leather pouch properly. I've slid it in on the outside part but it's very snug, and now I can't thread it onto a belt.

The quality of the actual tool and the extra's look and feel good. I can mention that my old Wave tools grip feel better on the hand with the rounded casted edges. My new TerraTac feels a bit sharp and nibble on the skin in certain holds. But, I'm impressed with it and very proud that is a local manufactured product. Keep the innovation flowing.

Love the design of the leather pouch for horizontal fitment.
Only two issues - not serious
1) No space for the additional tools in the leather pouch as provided for in the nylon pouch.
2) Tiny spectacle screwdriver would have been a bonus.
