Rust prevention

Contructed of high-grade steel. Like any other high end steel knives, some rust may form if not properly maintained.

Your Lima-1 should be periodically cleaned, dried and lubricated, especially if your blade has been exposed to saltwater or used in marine environments.

Simply rinse off with fresh water, dry and apply a light coat of oil.

Sharpening

Any knife edge can become blunt over time and with use. We recommend sharpening as required. The blade on your Lima-1 can be sharpened using any standard equipment inluding whetstones, rods etc.

Sharpening angle should be 16 degrees each side.
